What is new?

  • RMS iOS has been updated to version 4 to work seamlessly with Atlas mobile.
    • Atlas mobile offers access to our standard supporting base layers like roads and streams and more.
    • Access to common web basemaps like OSM and google basemaps.
    • Access to MyFolder layer sharing features where you can manage personal layers, download community layers, Browse and download district level Alpine derived basemaps and contours for offline use, and layers shared to you from other Atlas users.
    • Access to a variety of map specific tools like tap to track feature creation, active compass, distance measuring tool, and more.
    • Access to layer and feature creation with full support of attribute editing, simple and complex style and label editing, and sharing and importing functionality to perform GIS on your mobile device.
  • This version of RMS iOS no longer requires Regens or Fuel breaks to be assigned as active.
    • Your assigned District now determines what Regen and Fuel breaks are available to manage.
  • Fuel break activities now include Burning, Hand treatment, and Mechanical activity record support. #370

What has been fixed?

  • Numerous database connection, data syncing, data and map display, and initial setup issues have been corrected and optimized for this initial production release of RMS iOS 4.
  • Updated base functionality and UI display to work cohesively with iOS 26. #431
